Broadband Installation & setup
Customer B had ordered a BT Broadband connection and then had difficulties with the installation. Their PC was a few years old and needed more memory to run the BT installation software. The customer’s own attempt to upgrade the memory resulted in a PC that would not switch on at all. Poppy IT Services fixed the PC hardware and completed the software installation, only to discover that the customers telephone extension socket was broken! It was also in the next room, requiring a telephone extension lead. “I was really pleased. Steve not only got the PC & broadband working, but also installed a new telephone socket just where we need it. It’s much better than having wires trailing between rooms”
Customer C had got a little further with his broadband setup, but the phones were now buzzing & doing weird things. Also his email and address book was on the old PC and needed moving to the new one. “I had been trying to sort it all out for ages and getting nowhere fast.
